One person's opinion, turned into a plugin. DFYe stands for Done For You Employee: the job is answering the same forty questions about your store, and the product exists so that nobody has to.

## Why DFYe exists

Open forty support chat plugins and you get forty versions of the same rounded purple bubble with a cartoon robot in it, sitting on top of a site somebody paid a designer for. It is the one plugin whose output appears on every page to every visitor, and the whole category treats it as plumbing. Meanwhile the free options are genuinely good and genuinely developer-shaped: AI Engine is excellent, and it is a framework. Most people running a shop do not want a framework. DFYe is the version for those people, and it is paid because it is finished.

The name is the other half of the argument. Done For You Employee: the setup is done for you, because the plugin reads the store you already built rather than asking you to write a knowledge base about it first, and the answering is done for you after that. Every answer it gives is personalised to your store for the plain reason that your store is the only thing it has ever read.

## How we work

### It cites, or it does not answer

Every answer carries a link to the page it came from, and below a confidence floor there is no answer at all. A chatbot that invents is worse than no chatbot, because it is wrong with authority.

### Measured, not claimed

The bundle size on this site is written by the build that produced it, against a budget the build enforces. Every number about another product comes from that product public listing with the date it was retrieved.

### Nothing of yours passes through us

You bring your own model key, and conversations go from your site to your provider. There is no markup to take, no queue to wait in, and no transcript of your customers on our infrastructure.

### Done For You, not Do It Yourself

The name is Done For You Employee, and it is a promise about setup as much as about answering. If a product needs you to write a knowledge base, tag your intents and maintain a decision tree before it works, it has handed you a second job. This one reads what you already published and starts.

### No proof we do not have

There are no testimonials, logos or install counts on this site, because the plugin has not shipped. When there are customers they will have names and permission.
