### Chatbase, by the numbers

Chatbase is not distributed through a plugin directory, so there are no install or review figures to quote. Details taken from their public site on 8 September 2026 and stated only where they were clear.

### The real question is where your content lives

With a hosted builder you upload your content to somebody else, they index it, and you embed a script that talks to them. That is genuinely convenient, and if you run several sites on several platforms today it is the sane choice, because DFYe has one build in progress and Chatbase already runs anywhere.
