Comparison
DFYe vs Tidio
Tidio is a hosted platform with a WordPress plugin in front of it, and it does something DFYe does not do at all: it staffs a live-chat desk. If that is what you need, this page ends here.
- You want humans answering chats as well as a bot
- You want an operator inbox and mobile apps for your team
- You want a free tier to start on
- You run chat across more channels than your website
- You want questions answered from your own pages, with the page attached
- You do not want a conversation quota deciding when the bot stops
- You want the index and the conversations to stay on your own infrastructure
- You are not staffing a desk and do not want to be sold one

They are not the same product
Tidio is a live-chat company that added a bot. The bot exists so a human does not have to answer everything, and the operator inbox is the point. Seventy thousand sites run it, and for a team with people to staff a desk it is a reasonable choice.
DFYe has no desk, no inbox and no operators. It answers from what you already published, links the page, and says it does not know when it does not. If your problem is that nobody is answering at two in the morning, that is the whole product. If your problem is that your team needs a shared inbox, DFYe will not solve it and Tidio will.
